New Year

Prosit Neujahr, is German for happy new year, in Germany to celebrate new years some people get together, eat fondue, then at midnight all the church bells ring and people set off fireworks. Traditionally they melt tin, then pour into cold water the shape made is supposed to tell your fortune for the new year.

Porree Nudel Eintopf, Leek Noodle Stew

Cook 0.75 lb beef. Add salt and pepper. Then add one can of tomato puree then some water. Add about a pound of uncooked noodles. Take one to two leeks, chop them up and add to the pot. When noodles are done it's ready! Served with applesauce. Michelle and I made this last Sunday and everyone loved it!
