Classicism Era

Classicism in Germany started during the second half of the 18^th century. Deprived from the antiquity era, it was against the recent baroque style. Good examples of this type of architecture are the English Grounds of Wörlitz and the Brandenburg Gate. A famous architect from this time period is Karl Friedrich Schinkel, he is famous for his favor for Greek rather than Roman architecture, many of his designs are found in Berlin.
