Guten Morgen! That's good morning in German, and how the staff at the hotel greets us instead of the more casual hallo. We just had breakfast and it was amazing (I slept (12 hours!) through dinner and had an early lunch yesterday so I was really hungry). First I had a roll that I split into fourths, on one fourth I put salami, on another I put ham and on the last two I put prosciutto. My favorite was the prosciutto. I also had Weisswurst, a white sausage. Then I had a fruit bowl with strawberries, grapes, melon, pineapple, dried apricots and crystallized GINGER!! It was SO good, I love dried apricots and ginger! Then I had a pretzel which was much better than the pretzels I made and was actually cooked in lye! Today we plan to go to the Viktualienmarkt, which is basically a farmers' market and the Residenz. I'll post pictures when I can.
